Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10

Thanks to Patrick Bruss for drawing The Art of Sickness to my attention. This is a weirdly slept on album and band. After a few listens it’s one of my favorites for brutal and technical death. The Suffocation legacy is probably why, but Profanity is not a clone by any means.
